What is an Emergency?

An emergency is a sudden illness or accident.  It is any unforeseen medical problem (bleeding, shortness of breath, accidental injury, allergic reaction, poisoning, bites, burns or other acute problems).

It has been our experience that symptoms described over the telephone can not always be properly interpreted.  An examination of the animal is the best way to diagnose any medical problem.

If you feel in any way you have an emergency with your pet please come in and have an examination done by the veterinarian.
